60% ENERGY REDUCTION AT FACTORY RE-LIGHT

3E are supplying over 450 MHPPB 249 luminaires for the re-lighting of a factory of one of the world's principal suppliers of consumables to the printing industry. Each fitting incorporates its own individually remotely programmable detector with photocell, to increase the lighting levels while maximising the opportunity to switch the fittings off when they are not required. The projected savings are in excess of £60,000 per year, with a load reduction of 83kW saving 725,000 kilo Watt hours. All of the luminaires, the detectors and the installation costs are covered by an Enhanced Capital Allowance.
