Access Self-contained LED Downlight

The Access emergency downlight is available in surface or recessed versions and features an intelligent proSeries DALI/Self-Test LED driver paired with a long-life LiFe (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery. A high-output 3W Nichia LED is set into the fascia and can be fitted with either a wide-angle or corridor lens.

LiFe battery technology provides extended service life and avoids the heat-related issues common with NiMH alternatives.

Designed for seamless integration, the Access unit connects to any approved DALI control system. On first power-up, it automatically enters its commissioning Self-Test routine, then performs scheduled weekly and annual tests at staggered intervals to prevent multiple fittings testing at the same time. Any issues—such as battery or charging faults—are shown locally via a bi-colour indicator LED.

The fitting continuously listens for DALI commands. If a DALI signal is detected, it switches from Self-Test to full DALI operation.

Using established ELP proSeries emergency driver technology, the Access downlight provides reliable, self-contained, non-maintained emergency lighting with built-in Self-Test or optional DALI control—delivered within a single unit.
