The TEMPUS BHD XL is a high-performance LED emergency bulkhead luminaire engineered to deliver reliable illumination in critical escape route and open-area (anti-panic) applications. Designed for versatility, it supports both ceiling and over-door installation, making it an ideal solution for commercial, industrial, and public environments where dependable emergency lighting is essential.

At the core of its performance is a 3-hour emergency duration, ensuring continued operation during power failures and supporting safe evacuation in line with standard emergency lighting requirements. The unit features a 24-hour recharge cycle, enabling full battery recovery and readiness for repeated use.

Delivering up to 375 lumens of output, the BHD XL is suitable for 10.8 lux applications, providing effective coverage for escape routes and open areas while maintaining energy-efficient operation.

Built with a durable housing and advanced LED technology, the luminaire offers consistent performance in demanding environments. It operates on a 220–240V supply with low power consumption (nominal 5.3W), ensuring efficient long-term operation without compromising light output.

Flexibility is a key advantage of the TEMPUS BHD XL. The fitting supports maintained and non-maintained modes, allowing it to function as either a continuous light source or only during emergency conditions. Integrated status indication and compatibility with intelligent battery technologies, including DALI options, further enhance monitoring and control capabilities.

With its slim, modern design and multi-mounting capability, the TEMPUS BHD XL provides a practical and adaptable emergency lighting solution, combining robust construction with dependable emergency performance.
